Abstract

In this study a systematic analysis of the consequences of some extensions of a residential location model of the entropy maximizing type on the model performance is carried out. These extensions are disaggregation, quasi-dynamics and the introduction of external zones. The model is calibrated for the Amersfoort region and the results for 1971-1975 are compared with the real data for 1975.
