Abstract

An interview was held in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom to the quality of life and in particular to the development of subjective social indicators. The results of both studies are compared. People have a high satisfaction for their work, health and dwelling, but a less satisfaction for their education and the way the democratic system works in practice.
