Abstract

This report quantifies the benefits to motorists of improving maps and direction signs, offering computerized route information services as supplied by the AA (Automobile Association) and the RAC (Royal Automobile Club), supplying cellular radio networks and local broadcasts on local traffic conditions, together with in- vehicle electronic route guidance systems.
