At June, 1 1996 all moped riders need to have a moped certificate. All moped riders older than sixteen at that date could apply free for such a certificate. New moped riders should do from that date an examination in theory on how the task of the moped rider should be in traffic. They do not do an actual driving test. This report specifies the set-up of the examination for such a moped certificate. It can be compared with the driving licence for the car. To take the right decision when participating in traffic always five so called task processes should be considered: perception; forecast; evaluation; decision-making; and action. Selections of behaviour before, during and after the participation in traffic are outlined in detail.
