Abstract

The greatest benefits of road pricing might come from a shift in demand i.e. transfer to public modes of transport. The introduction of the road pricing system will require additional investments on the public transport sector to meet increases in demand. But this question will pose no problem if it is considered that increased demand also means increase in available funds.
