Thermal comfort levels achieved in coaches. A case study.

Abstract

Thermal comfort conditions encountered during six journeys on modern coaches on long-distance routes are reported. When compared with the criteira commonly used for buildings they suggest that most passengers would be uncomfortable for more than half of the journey time of twelve hours.
