Abstract

QFleet has developed an interactive method for the delivery of its driver safety training program to promote greater retention and application of safe driving attitudes and practices, and to facilitate delivery of training to regional and remote areas of Queensland. QFleet is the largest vehicle lessor in Queensland, with almost 13,000 vehicles under management for around 1,200 government and government-funded organisations. 'Think Safe, Drive Safe' is a competency based driver training program consisting of an interactive CDrom theory component, and complemented by a practical driver component. The practical component will be delivered by a coordinated network of private driver trainers throughout Queensland's regions.
