Abstract

The activity report 1986 of the ECMT is presented. The general transport policy in Europe is followed by the trends in the transport sector 1970- 1985. A special part of the report is dedicated to the resolution on ways on influencing human behaviour with a view to improving road safety. The latter is related to the year of traffic safety of 1986.
