Abstract

During a seven months period survey 624 victims injured from three or four wheeled all- terrain vehicles were observed. It is concluded that the use of these vehicles presents a danger whether used by a child or an adult. Bearing in mind that they offer less control, that they are much more dangerous than the motorcycle and that the majority are used for recreational purposes, these vehicles should be taken out of the market.
