Abstract

The Korvelseweg, a main road through the centre of Tilburg was redesigned and reconstructed. The Korvelseweg is a shopping area and an evaluation was made into the economic effects for these shops of the reconstruction. No modification was found in the origin of the public of the region to a more local origin. Some shops have got a better offer after the reconstruction, which is also a question. / of a better parking situation. Living with traffic has become worse, because the traffic concentration has not decreased. The final conclusion can be made after several years.
