Transport contributes greatly towards our prosperity. Partly because of the availability of goods transport, we can live the way we do. However, without adequate infrastructure, the transport industry cannot provide products for our daily needs. Over the past years, the number of traffic jams in the Netherlands has increased strongly. Because of this, the quality of service providing is coming under greater pressure; the reliability of road transport is decreasing.
