Abstract

This manual explains how a deaf or severely hard of hearing driver can use sight, vibration sensation, and smell to replace hearing in caring for his car and driving safely. Signs of trouble discussed include: what the driver should look for when inspecting his own vehicle for proper performance, the meaning or interpretation of instrument panel warning lights, and what car troubles may be signaled by unusual vibrations.
