Abstract
Discussed are developments in communication and transport techniques that will improve liveability of towns. The techniques discussed are: magnetically levitated trains, undergrounds, free lane public transport, suspended railways and computer guided traffic systems in urban and regional traffic. The use of micro-processors in offices, households and traffic regulation is also discussed just as the social consequences of its use.
