Abstract
In this lecture the application of a flexible traffic engineering in the cities in considered under the following headings: 1) Introduction; 2) Congestion in the network; 3) Capacity or achievement, 4) Quality of traffic engineering; 5) Minimalisation of delay; 6) Flexible traffic engineering; 7) Co-ordination of flexible traffic engineering; 8) There is more traffic then car traffic; 9) More attention for the pedestrian and 10) Priority for public transport.
