Abstract

It is shown that notching armature voltage and continuous field control can be a compromise solution for EV-drives. For the given vehicle parameters the necessarily series resistors are determined. An analysis of field control at different armature voltages is given for both stationary and dynamic conditions. Flow chart and block diagram of the control system are given.
