Author(s)

Abstract

The model described in this paper provides an organized framework for conducting human factor analyses of workplace accidents and other safety problems. Human error is presented as the focal point of concern in the prevention of accidents, and use of the model involves systematically identifying error- provocative situations and, then, tracing the causal factors involved.
