Abstract

The increasing business complexity leads to a shift in collaborations from long-term one-on-one relationships to more ad hoc and opportunistic coalitions between multiple actors. This development, paired with an increasing transformation of work to digital environments, has propelled a need fornew ways to share information in order to become innovative. By reviewingthe literature and applying the results to Swedish railroad industry, theauthors contribute to our understanding of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
