Abstract

The MELYSSA project is one of the pilot projects of the DRIVE II-ATT programme. This project gathers numerous participants in order to test a variety of applications in both France and Germany. Several achievements have already been reached, whilst the project will finish in June 1995. These include data exchange, automatic incident detection, and traffic management during bad weather. Traffic information for both drivers and commercial fleet management have also been achieved. The integration of the different applications is still underway; a panorama of possible steps of integration is provided in the last part of this paper. (A)
