Abstract

Scale-model wind tunnel tests veere run according to theSAL J1252 procedure. Changes in the vehicles wind-ave-raged drag coefficient due to the aerodynamic device veereused to compute estimates of fuel savings. Scale-modeldetails veere important in computing these estimates.
