Abstract

Information concerning vehicles involved in a traffic accident includes: identification of the particular vehicles which distinguishes them from all other similar vehicles; description for classification purposes; damage classification; examination of the vehicle at the scene of the accident; and additional technical examination of the vehicle purposes. Vehicle indentification information, which includes the current registration number and the name and address of the owner, is used for accident reports and supplementary accident investigation.
