Traffic accidents and the change to Standard Time in Ireland.

Abstract

The Standard Time Act came into force in October 1968, specifying that Standard Time, which is one hour in advance of Greenwich Mean Time, be used for general purposes in Ireland. The findings of a preliminary evaluation of its effect on traffic accidents are presented.
