Abstract

This paper describes the Traffic and Environment Evaluation Model, TEEM, developed as a planning tool for use by provincial town and country planners. The TEEM-programme integrates traffic modelling and calculation of environmental impacts of road traffic schemes in a way that allows environmental considerations to become an integral part of transport planning and road project evaluation. (A) The German title of this article is: Beurteilungsmodell für Strassenverkehr und Umwelt.
