Abstract
This international bibliography precedes the 1992-1994 update (see C 5031 S) and 1994-1997 update (see P 970719) and includes abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles on the reduction of traffic speed and congestion. The items have been selected from the material added to the Transportation Research Laboratory's Library Database between 1990 and 1992. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Road Research Documentation (IRRD) database.
