Abstract

Estimates of the volume of traffic in Great Britain in 1969 are given together with figures for earlier years. The increase of motor traffic between 1968 and 1969 was about 3%; this increase was the lowest in recent years. In 1969 travel on motorways represented 4% of the travel on all roads.
