Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 1918, examines factors affecting safety at rail–highway grade crossings, the legibility of unlit freeway guide signs, the flashing yellow arrow in traffic signal displays, radius-estimating techniques for horizontal curves, and the effectiveness of dynamic speed display signs.
