Traffic control for freeway maintenance.

Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of traffic hazard created by closing of any part of a present-day freeway for maintenance procedures. Currently used leading practices for traffic control during freeway maintenance are presented in order to protect the travelling public as well as the workmen under the temporary conditions.
