Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2161 includes six papers that explore a lane-changing model based on driver behavior, a lane-changing model of multiclass vehicles under heavy traffic conditions, simulation-based traffic prediction for incident management, traffic simulation using data archives of intelligent transportation systems, the macroscopic fundamental diagram using simulation data, and ex post evaluation of calibrated simulation models of future systems.
