Abstract

The places where people live should ideally be free of the hazards and stress which can be caused by the conflict between traffic and environmental requirements. This note is a guide to Local Authorities for resolving that conflict by a re-organisation of existing road and traffic patterns in order to obtain an acceptable environment in General Improvement Areas.
