Abstract

For roughly ten years, the authors have applied image processing technology to the transport domain. They first dealt with traffic purposes on the highway context. Three main developments have been conducted. On the basis of the techniques developed more complex scenes have been investigated to get traffic measurement in the urban context. Beyond these researches, they are currently dealing with pedestrian problems. This paper describes these applications.
