Abstract

The transport policy of Prague, capital of Czechoslovakia, is based on the priority development of public transport. The aim of it is to ensure satisfaction of transportation needs for inhabitants and visitors together with the improvement of environmental quality and the protection of residential and preferably the historical areas from negative impact of motor- car traffic.
