Abstract

Accurate predictions for long sections of rural roads having high traffic growth rates and a lack of post data may not be possible, but at least upper and lower limits of future flows can be estimated, and a programme evolved which will allow for uncertainties. Consideration is given to present diverted and generated traffic.
