Abstract

Motor vehicle crashes investigated by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol in 1972 are examined. Five main studies groups were investigated: (1) intoxicated drivers (2) ability impaired drivers; (3) drinking-impairment unknown; (4) sobriety unreported; and (5) not drinking drivers. Results presented and discussed.
