Abstract

Traffic planning can no longer be considered solely a matter of traffic technique and traffic economy, but instead is becoming increasingly a question of societal economy and politics. This change calls for entirely different means of planning. The most essential reasons of this change are: the environmental questions, energy consumption, traffic safety and social right.
