Abstract

Despite a number of successes registered, there is no reason for complacency in the Canadian safety movement. The traffic accident-totals have to be still rolled back. The main task is to change driver attitudes towards safety, to get them to follow the defensive driving principles of "recognize the hazard, understand the defense and act in time".
