Abstract

The traffic safety checklist has been developed in the frame of the PROMETHEUS Safety group. The main aim of the checklist is to support people dealing with safety questions to think systematically of how new technical/technological equipment that is meant to be implemented in road traffic could influence individual behaviour and road user interaction. Some results of assessments of PROMETHEUS CEDs (Common European Demonstrators) with the help of the checklist are presented. (A)
