Abstract
The launch of the Traffic Scotland web service represents the introduction of an enhanced traffic management and travel information service from Transport Scotland and the Scottish Executive. The new web site expands the provision of information for motorists by providing real-time and future traffic information for the Scottish trunk road network. Traffic Scotland provides detailed information on incidents, congestion, journey times, current and future roadworks, major events and weather information for the country's 3200km of trunk roads. The site also provides links into the publictransport network by the provision of Park and Ride information. For the covering abstract see ITRD E134653.
