Abstract

It is possible to reduce traffic, offer parking spaces enough, keep an acceptable speed of public transport, get a better environment in the city care, the CBD, and at the same time increase the business. It has been done in Gothenburg, Sweden, by dividing the CBD in 5 zones. Each one has its own enter- and connection to the ringroad. The system is presented and the results are discussed.
