Abstract

An "Information-Decision-Action" (IDA) model, with block diagrams, was developed for a roadway delineation investigation, and an example for one of seven possible situations (a horizontal curve) is presented. Basic concepts in human factor study for detecting and identification were tested, and one of these (for a stop sign approach) is described in detail.
