Abstract

This international bibliography includes abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles on many of the new developments in the application of telecommunications to transport. These abstracts of papers on European and American research, on various applications of advanced transport telematics (ATT) in the UK, Europe and the USA, including projects such as ROMANSE (EC DRIVE II), STOPWATCH (Southhampton), PLEIADES (Paris-London Corridor), and STORM (Stuttgart), and on urban debiting, driver information systems, public transport information systems, fleet management and control systems, advanced vehicle control systems, etc. The items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 1993 and 1995, and this publication updates Current Topic 27, Road Traffic Informatics (RTI) (1991-1993).
