Transport telematics update (1995-1997).

This issue of Current Topics includes c90 abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on recent developments in the field of transport telematics. Abstracts are included on systems architecture and the standards needed for process control; market development; and plans and case studies for specific applications, mainly under the EU DRIVE 2 and the IV Framework programmes, for example in the cities of Munich, Piraeus, Melbourne and Southampton. These items have been selected from the material added to the Transport Research Laboratory's Library Database between 1995 and 1997. Much of the relevant English language published literature from the UK, USA, Australia and Europe is included; some of the non-UK literature is included courtesy of the OECD International Road Research Documentation (IRRD) database.
