Abstract

The changes occurring in Poland in the scope of urbanization and transportation development, and first of all the rising standards and demands of population, enforce much more attention to the correct manner of services network organization. The most important elements of this network, the town centres, are at the same time the most difficult to be developed correctly. Observations and considerations presented here refer the influence of modern transportation on the town centre development related to conditions in Poland.
