Abstract

As a result of deputations and requests for transportation from several handicapped groups, surveys were conducted in 6 Ontario cities. Interviews and mail surveys were carried out and basic transportation options were identified. The three basic transportation improvement options identified were: Improve existing services, pay direct subsidy to handicapped individuals and provide new special services for the handicapped.
