Transportation innovations in Chicago's central business district.

Abstract

The City of Chicago is now in the process of implementing a major anti-pollution and transit improvement program in the Central Business District of the City. The program, which consists of a vehicle emission inspection system, a CBD computer controlled signal system and certain onstreet parking restrictions, is described.
