Abstract

The National Consortium for Remote Sensing in Transportation-Hazards (NCRST-H) focuses on transportation safety, hazards, and disaster assessments. S.A. Morain, University of New Mexico, one of the consortium partners, discusses the NCRST-H's tasks which focus on assessing transportation lifelines and their corridor alignments. The lifelines include roads of all classes, railroads, bridges, airports, pipelines, coastal and inland waterways, marine facilities, and intermodal facilities. W.H. Kraft, Session Moderator, provides a summary of Session 5.
