Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board 1895 examines the land use and transportation factors influencing congestion and jobs–housing imbalances for the Westside cities of Los Angeles County, Oregon’s experience with a transportation utility fee, a smart growth study for Chicago, the calibration and validation of quick response forecasting parameters for cities in rural counties of South Carolina, and the implementation of an access management program in Texas. The papers contained in this volume were among those presented at the 83rd Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in January 2004.
