Abstract

This report of the workshop which identified 11 areas for future investigation, explores the themes of the proposed research, discusses the application of the research and the implementation of the results and reviews institutional considerations. There is a need to develop a coherent understanding of travel behaviour from a variety of perspectives and particularly that of the potential impact of low-capital options. A typical example is the behavioural response to car-pool schemes.
