Abstract

TRB’s Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, No. 2133 includes 14 papers that explore toll plaza delay estimation; anticipating welfare impacts via travel demand forecasting models, adapting travel models and urban models to forecast greenhouse gases, intrametropolitan location of business establishments, spatial equity analysis on expressway network development in Japan, and modeling location decisions of office firms. This issue of the TRR also examines understanding residential mobility, developing and applying land use model systems, an integrated land use and transportation modeling framework for a small metropolitan area, a residential location choice model within a relocation context, calibrating a synthetic built form generator, sensitivity testing with the Oregon statewide integrated model, integrated transport and gravity-based land use models for policy analysis, and dynamic origin-destination estimation.
