Trends in traffic conditions in central Glasgow, 1954-1964.

Abstract

This report outlines traffic data obtained in 1963 and 1964 during a before-and-after study of the effect of new one-way streets in central Glasgow. The main results obtained are compared with those obtained in earlier general surveys of traffic conditions in central Glasgow carried out between 1954 and 1961.
