The TRL Annual Research Review 2014-15 contains a summary of 18 months of research activity at TRL. It concentrates on key research themes, many of which are multi-disciplinary, highlighting relevant work that TRL has been engaged in over the period, illustrated by a fuller description of some of the projects involved. We also highlight just a few of our scientific achievements, noting awards, presentations, citations, memberships of influential technical committees and interactions and collaborations with academia. The review also describes innovative work carried out through our strategic programme of reinvestment projects and more fundamental research undertaken with support from the European Commission and UK Research Councils. An overview of the research undertaken by staff and associated students currently studying for higher degree qualifications is also included. A full list of reports, papers and media activities accomplished during the period completes the Review, demonstrating the breadth and depth of our interests. (Author/publisher)
