Abstract
The attitudes and performances of regulated and exempt carriers, as well as looking at the use of drugs or alcohol, age and health problems, role of woman truck rivers, equipment problems, and union relations, are examined. The background, attitudes, perceptions, performance, and safety of drivers are compared from different part of the industry.
